Step 1: Get approval
Note: these are my personal thoughts and not representative of the views of any clients or employers.
After what feels like far too long a wait (mostly from being impatient on my end), I can happily say that a subcommittee has been formed to sort out the funding of my church’s VPO project. Thanks to the tireless work of the Worship and Music Committee, my proposal was reviewed and approved for next steps. That being said, where does it leave this process?
In short, now I wait for quotes from the electrician, organ removal company, and the organ company who wants to purchase some ranks of pipes. Once those numbers are in place, I can go ahead and confirm everything and the subcommittee can finalize funding details and begin purchases. Over the next week I’ll write a post outlining my proposed setup and its total costs. Quite the exciting time!
